  1. Brew Moore plays on some of the tunes which makes it a more interesting album for me.
  2. With Red Garland, Oscar Pettiford and Philly Joe Jones I was especially impressed by the playing of Oscar Pettiford. His solo on the tune "Green Haze" was especially terrific.
  3. Haydn- String Quartets Op.50/1 Op50/2 Op.50/3 - Amati Quartet
  4. I have seen Herlin Riley play a few times over the years, and he was a terrific drummer. Very creative and swings beautifully.
  5. Yusef Lateef plays tenor sax throughout this entire album. I have long believed that tenor sax is his strongest instrument. His sidemen on this session are not, in my opinion, as strong as on his Savoy and Prestige recordings.
  6. Beethoven Symphony No.3 - Suitner / Staatskapell Berlin
  7. Come on Kevin, there is nothing wrong with people expressing their opinions on a musicians live performance or recording. I don't recall and lengthy thread discussing Jason Marsalis.
