I have 6 different versions of Chopin's complete Nocturnes. Up until now I have thought my favorite version was by Moravec. Now after just listening to the Nocturnes played by Ashkenazy, Vladimir's version may have moved to the top of my list of favorites. I intend to play the Moravec version of Chopin's Nocturnes in the near future, so my opinion is still not final.
