  1. Haydn - Op.76/5 Spohr - Symphony No.10
  2. Just about every trumpet player from that time period, and some on the scene before or after, has been mentioned. I agree with roughly 75% of those mentioned. One not mentioned that I will include is Lonnie Hillyer . He played and recorded with Yuseef Lateef, Mingus, Charles McPherson, and Barry Harris. Unfortunately he died very young.
  3. Mendelssohn - String Quartet Op.12 Mozart - Piano Concerto No.14, K.449
  4. Schnabel - Mozart Piano Quartet No.1, K.478 Amadesus Quartet - Brahms String Quintet No.2, Op.111
  5. This is a very good CD. Rich Perry is particularly terrific. Though tenor man Rich Perry has recorded frequently for Steeplechase, I nonetheless get the sense that he is underrated. Perry"s solos often remind me of the way Joe Henderson forms his solos.
  6. John Lewis Solo/Duo with Hank Jones - Live in Japan
  7. Mozart - Concerto for 3 pianos & orch - Kocsis, Ranki, Schiff Schubert - Fantasy in C major - Szymon Goldberg & Radu Lupu
