  1. As I said on another thread, to my ears this was pleasant, but nothing special.
  2. Just listened to the "Skylark" album. It made for pleasant easy listening, but nothing that would motivate me to play it again.
  3. One of my very favorite Clifford Jordan albums. What a fabulous quintet - Clifford Jordan, Art Farmer, Sonny Clark, George Tucker, Louis Hayes The tunes are all winners too.
  4. Among my favorite examples of Eric Dolphy's playing.
  5. Haydn String Quartet Op.20/2 and Mendelssohn String Quartet Op.81
  6. It is particularly interesting to hear Sonny Stitt play baritone sax on 4 of the tracks on this album.
  7. Piano Sonatas No.5, No.21, No.24
  8. I very much like thw World's Greates Jazz Band P Gershwin & Rodgers & Hart. A nice mix of musicians with some especially fine solos by Carl Fontana. Now listening to:
