Exactly. You're thinking in prose, Captain. Think POETRY. Wooing a lover (or at least getting laid). Finding God (or at least some sort of meaning). Sorting out the order of things. Expressing who you are, booty shaking-wise or otherwise. BIG things, man! That's what the language of music is for.

I knew that this record was a hit, but I didn't realize how BIG of a hit it was -- until just recently when I was doing some research. I read that Atlantic sold more than a million (!) copies of the LP. Could that be true? ... If so, wouldn't that make it one of the best selling jazz records ever?
