40% off CDs/DVDs

Bags Unlimited have box set album poly sleeves SBLP2.
I've used them and are large enough to cover box sets.
-
Noticed a bunch of Johnny Cash Columbia/Legacy titles in the "just added" section on yourmusic.com this morning, so hopefully that indicates that some sort of agreement has been reached between the companies.
I wonder if it's just the cheaper, budget titles?

with 40% off (at Circuit City) the Kind Of Blue LEGACY edition was only $10.20.

From what I understand a retailer going out of business will make more money selling its stock to other retailers--that's why CC isn't slashing prices for the public.
I read that they will close around MARCH. So there's no rush to increase the discounts.
Currently 25% off CDs/DVDs

Pickedup the DualDisc for $5.99 (used) and noticed the DVD side has 60 minutes of the DVD that's included on the 50th Anniversary set. I think the 50th has a 90 minute DVD.
Really, the Documentary is only 25 minutes. (that's included on both)

just got the Sonny Stitt - STIS IN WITH THE OSCAR PETERSON TRIO
Digipak with no BMG label markings.

='Oct 10 2008, 11:37 PM' post='841748']I don't understand why they didn't just put all 3 discs in a triple digipak. Watch, down the line they'll put out this set like that minus the bonuses.
Yes, you can

Tower.com is selling the Delux 2-CD legacy set for $13.99

I once tried to sell a couple to FYE and they wouldnt touch them. They told me that they had an arrangement with bmgmusic that prevented them to accept any club CDs.
I think you can sell BMG CDs to secondspin.com

I received mine just fine last week.
I ordered on 11/21/08 and received the box set on 1/7/09.
No damage.

Sorry GA, haven't seen any in a while. Hopefully they'll cough up a few more for us before too long.
Dude, you better get on it!
Ok ok since you guys have been so nice to me lately (), here's an extra special super code:
D8E1 - 3 free discs
There are 2 really cool things about this code.
1. It's not a one-time only code, so you can use it to your heart's content.
2. It's good for 2 disc sets (i.e. you can order 3 two-disc sets in one order, for free).
Have fun - even you, Ron!!
This code can only be used "once" more. Use it now for the last time. (or gamble and wait to see if it expires later) No more multiple uses on this code.

Great music should not be deleted. EMI can delete their Garth Brooks records instead.
Where have you been? Garth left EMI about 5 years ago and went to Wal-Mart. I think he's leaving Wal-Mart soon too. All of his CDs are discounted at Wal-Mart.
(Garth told EMI, that he kept EMI in business for the last ten years)

Sonny Clark - Leapin' & Lopin'
Sam Rivers - Dimensions & Extensions
Hank Mobley - Peckin' Time
Grachan Moncur III - Evolution
Stanley Turrentine - Dearly Beloved
Well, so much for BMG's e-mail notification; I guess you sign up to receive an e-mail when a title arrives, but then they don't tell you. I just ordered the Clark, Mobley, and Turrentine thanks to seeing them listed here.
The email notices seem to come the next day. (it could be all the spam controls)

70% Off CDs, plus Free Shipping
D8F1 thru 6
Codes 1 & 2 say that they are for “Today Only!” but I don't know when "today" starts for this sale.
Codes 5 & 6 give this message “Order Now for On-Time Holiday Delivery” as well.
After a quick check, it does not look like the free shipping works for box sets.

What I think is a shame, is that after he lucked out with the acquittal.
He could have easily made $33 million selling shit or doing promotion for the Goldmans. He would have been able to be lovalble pre-OJ that everybody knew.
Instead, he choose to be MAD OJ.

speaking of "good riddance"
I was shopping in Amoeba and they were BLASTING some METAL ROCK over the speakers. It was so loud, that I felt that I needed to bring earplugs next time I shop there. Like, how am I suppose to shop with this LOUD music banging around? I can understand a small shop doing that, but a large store BLASTING music?

I got the Columbia Small Group Swing on sale. Arrived quickly.
Just out of curiosity, was the booklet hand-numbered on the inside cover?
The Mosaic box sets I bought from Deepdiscount had the numbers inside the booklet.

I could find the thread on Rosemary Clooney?
Does anybody know where it is?
