  2. Well, I guess that's friendlier than "ground to dust and then drowned in hot water"...
  3. I thought the Tampa Bay/Boston series was a great one; let's hope the finals can top it!
  4. That's funny; there used to a guy here with that same name...
  5. I just realized how long ago that was...
  6. But it's even better with a nice cup of tea...
  7. Okay, they finally talked me down off the window sill. I don't see what the big deal was; I'm on the first floor. I'm still stunned that the Sharks lost this series this early. I know they didn't have their "A" game, but those three 5 on 3s are going to bug me for a while. I can't say I think the Sharks need to make any big changes for next season, unless it's to trade Eager for a new skate grinder and one of those moist towlette thingies... Oh well; Bolts-Bruins tonight!

  9. After a lifetime of being a coffee fanatic, a year or so ago I switched to tea. Now it's five or six cups a day. Milk and Equal (or actually a generic substitute) not optional.

  12. I've got to say, that was just a disgusting way to go down three games to one. Three friggin' 5 on 3 goals in less than two minutes?
  13. They just announced on the radio that Ben Eager was a scratch tonight. I'm shocked.
  14. Wow. I guess Pheonix is safe for now. That would be the second NHL team Atlanta has lost.

  18. I'm not familiar with them; I'll keep an eye out! Rereading a favorite, which for some reason always seems like a good choice:
  19. I agree. He was the standout of the series.

  21. No worries; the Sharks took care of business and move on. I have to admit, when Detroit scored that second goal so quickly after the Sharks scored their third, I had a bit of a "here we go again" feeling, but they clamped down well after that. And of course, after my last grumbling post, Marleau scored the winner...
  22. I'm thinking you're right.
