  1. More circle-osity!
  2. Double ampersands!
  3. Yessir!
  4. No, not her. Hint - semi-regular on a hit ABC series as a girlfriend, co-star on a hit NBC series as a wife, and then star on a hit CBS series as a mom.
  5. And anyway, in this case, pride came after the fall...
  6. Eiffel-y Tower-ness!
  7. I can't either...closest "maybe" I could find was Johnny Narron, but...
  8. This is a very familiar person for "anybody" who watched TV from the late-60s through the late-80s...
  9. Were you on XP before going to 7, that you were going to have to buy new Roxio?
  10. Does it follow the recent trend of exhaustive biographage and give us a detailed history of the property itself and others that preceded it on that location?
  11. I feel better then. Now, guess who?
  12. http://en.wikipedia....ki/Diane_McBain Wow, it's entirely possible that this is the first time I've ever seen her. So many faces, so little time.
  13. Upgraded to 7 about six(?) months ago, using Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 from my Vista days and don't have any issues. I'm sure there's less cumbersome software than this, but it ain't broke, so I'm not fixing it.
  14. Who is Diane McBain?
  15. Whatever. The corollary to "pride cometh before the fall" is that is that a lack of pride encourages success. If Nelson Cruz' pride makes Derek Holland and/or Colby Lewis pitch worse than they ordinarily would, then you have a point about "karma". And if the Tigers need this to fuel them up any furhter than they already are, then they're not where they need to be in the first place. Like they'd be coming into Arlington all broken and defeated if not for Nelson Cruz. Besides, word is that Cruz was actually giving that to Cabrera, not Verlander. Apaprently they've been jawing back and forth all series, spirited but not angry. And most importantly, it was not contrived and meant for the camera, unlike some player's "routines" (won't name names...). Otherwise, fierce competitors in the heat of battle get a little chesty sometimes. I've seen it in the office, on the bandstand, in the arena, it's just a fact of life, and only truly bothersome when it's done by somebody who can't back it up. That was an emotional game. This has been an emotional series, and will continue to be. One thing it won't be is "torture". Enjoy the game!
  16. Man in white pants!
  17. I feel the same way about C.J. Wilson, especially now. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I honestly can't see Sabbathia coming to Texas, though, unless he plans on losing a helluva lot of weight to make it through the summer and/or is willing to have a much less amount of media attention. Gotta wonder, though, who floated that report out on the day that Wilson was starting and what their motives were. Possibilities abound...
  18. The AFL & the ABA were both glorious, and gloriously maverick, ventures, both eventually swallowed up by their larger corporate competitors. The lesson? Don't kid yourself about the way things end up, but enjoy the hell out of them before they do.
