I do like this one too that is nearly everything from Boll & his big band + many arrangememnts for other groups. He brought even Stans band to swing like mad.
Throughout Europe he directed many radio bigbands of the different countries as from Switzerland, Germany (WDR big band / radio Frankfurt big band/ radio Hamburg big band) and also in the Netherlands. A real giant he was.
Yes the complete 16 CD Box is a real treasure box on my shelves and as Art Pepper fan a must.
The booklet shows all these original covers like above. Havent seen these in original size.
Thanks for the Info
Have the 2 on CD
I mean searching these mentioned by Gheorghe.
The best Tina Brook I heard was his solos on a live Kenny Burrell CD, and on one of those Jimmy Smith jams, I never knew which is which....
Love the sound of the trombones. Here's a bunch of them.
Progressuve Records PRO 7018 - The All Star Trombone Spectacular - rec. 1977 - Engineer: Fred Miller
Thanks for remembering me to Tina.
Yes do agree. I discovered Tina Brooks very late and have the 2 following CD's
Now I should search these you did mention.
