  1. Its hard to follow the Parker recordings because they are distributed and redistributed in various order and on LP's always with different LP titles. Have this one (+ the vol. 2 & 3) with some big band tracks Discogs lists these tracks for your album but no detailed data for the band. Have to check Lords for more Info. 8. Some time ago I did reply to the topic of this thread. I am really a big band fan. I admit that BB are not too often discussed at Organissimo. Re your question: This is a nice west coast label ( Now SeaBreeze Jazz) and I have quite a bit of this label. Very good vinyl pressing quality and recently also CD's. If you are interested I can run a query from my Paradox database for you (pm if you wish) because its quite a list.
  9. some good music also here Great session - all 3 volumes
  10. Very nice reissue series from Fresh Sound. Have bought quite a bunch from this series of relatively unknown big bands Yes one of the best from them on Pacific Jazz
  11. There arent much Items to find him as leader. Have him on a Paul Horn LP and like what I hear. He was also with Shearing. How is this one?
  12. Thanks for your analysis. There are 3 volumes on vinyl from this session - "Thursday, Friday & Saturday Night". All recently issued on a CD box. As a member in another forum commented the order of tracks on the vinyls are not correct. However I am an Art Pepper fan and dont have complaints about this one.
  13. There exists a japanese 3 LP box "The Fifties" - The O. Peterson set with Barney Kessell is the highlight for me and a 4 CD Proper box
