  7. thanks larry. in "lets get lost," the baker documentary, chet gives the five black guys story. but in the same movie chet's girlfriend (singer?) Ruth Young says the five black guys story is pure B.S. also in the documentary is film footage of chet playing with just one missing tooth.

  14. By the way, it must be noted here that "I'm just a Bill" was written by Frishburg but sung by Jack Sheldon. "Conjunction Junction" was written by Dorough, sung by Sheldon. See Here i didn't know that - surely dorough sang "three is a magic number"??!!!!

  18. saw both the Jackie Paris movie and the Chet Baker movie last night. both movies were very well done, well researched, lots of interviews and lots of old film of actual performances. the jackie paris movie was a pleasant surprise for me because i really knew very little about him. anyway - both films RECOMMENDED!
