  1. Liszt - Sonata 'Apres Une Lecture de Dante' * Mephisto Walz * Études de Execution * Transcendante i understand but because of the Allegro's i can't end up in a meditive state myself ... and for me it is to repitive. Vivaldi used predictable formulas over and over again.
  2. beautiful and calming but misses the Italian authenticy ... not that it bothers me to much. One thing ... i get bored after a while by how repitive Vivaldi's music is, and the excess of 'the Allegro' doesn't make things better also.
  3. Debussy - La Mer * Nocturnes * Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune * Marche Ecossaise * Berceuse Héroïque *Musiques pour Le Roi Lear
  4. last track side A is marvelous...
  5. Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways
  6. Tchaikovsky - Violin Concerto (Fricsay, RIAS-Symphony Orchestra, 1949) incredible version ... what i like about 'Audite' is the use of the original digital master.
  7. April in Februari ... not my kind of jazz
  8. ... there is an very, very rare Japan 3 cd release of these performances,... found 'ONE' copy for sale on the internet for 160 euro (if i remember right) ... oops, ... already sold few days later ! A reissue would be justified by now.
  9. Maybe, Brendel's first recording (analogue) of Schubert's pianowork (for solo piano) is his best achievement ...
