  1. ... and may i ask which recordings of the sixth you have heard ?
  2. What is/are your favorite recording/recordings of the sixth ?
  3. I have the seventh on Orfeo. From what i remember more or the less as good as the studio recording. Don't know about the sixth here.
  4. A first listen and i am curious because there are classical lovers marked this as a reference recording. Found the disc some time ago for a euro and managed to save it for this moment. NP , this totally rocks !
  5. Yes, it is a true reference recording and an absolute must-have for the fifth and seventh. No doubt about it. Harnoncourt certainly has the fire but his recordings lack emotional involvement/depth and the sound of the Chamber Orchestra doesn't work that well ether. Maybe the fifth works best for me here.
  6. Found a near mint copy some time ago ... NP
  7. Sonatas Nos. 18, 21 'Waldstein', 23 'Appassionata'
  8. story also holds up (for me) ... very good movie !
  9. I've been fugued yesterday evening
  10. ... like that 'Indian Summer' !
  11. Yes, Wit's recordings. I definitely recommend Lutoslavsky's own recordings ... they are not only idiomatic but also interesting as ****
