I don't think the Cubs are going anywhere , they looked flat yesterday . Also i don't care what anyone says BUT the Manager in baseball matters in the playoffs and Torre will out manage Piniella , who is the most overated manager in the game ! Manny Matters .....he is that good , i still don't understand why he is running hard down the first base line, he never did that in 8 years here in Boston .....he never ran that hard !

TALENT all around ( remember Ellsbury in the WS last year!) and experience ! Funny part was in the late innings the broadcasters ( who i thought were good ) were talking about the Angels and their 100 victories. Then one of them said ..."remember the Sox are the defending World Champions " If this was the yanks they would be talking non stop about them being champs and blah blah blah.....

What a GAME , big win for the Sox ..Jon Lester !!!!!!, and Ellsbury had a whale of a game ! They have to start these games earlier.......tired!

That Home Run by MANNY was unbelievable , what a piece of hitting !!!!!!!! That was a good pitch and he just went down , kept his balance and The Distance that it traveled was friggin' unbelievable! And he hustled down the line on one play !!!! ( of course i was NOT happy about that , because i never remember him hustling like that for the Sox ).

M&M pointed out this morning that the season series counts for nothing in baseball. The Twins won the season series with the ChiSox, 10-8, I believe, yet those 18 games count for nothing and the Twins are forced to play a one-game winner take all game ... at Chicago (because of a coin flip!)? Doesn't seem fair to the Twinkies. If you're tied atop the division with another team but you won the season series against that team, you win the division. makes sense. Why is it different for the wild card? They have a point. Its different because only one playoff spot is left. Head-to-head record counts only if both teams are heading to the playoffs regardless; its for seeding purposes as well as "bragging rights". Do you really think that a spot in the playoffs should be determined by season series rather than on the field? And as far as the coin flip goes, do you have a better method? How about "choose a number from 1 to 100, the closest without going over wins"? I got one , why dont they take 2 players at home base and one runs towards first and the other towards 3rd and whoever reaches home first wins !!!! We can sell tickets !!!!, beer !, Sausages, Popcorn !

It is just wishful thinking right now that Beckett can pitch game 3 ......if only the Angels knew about Becketts oblique they might have gone with the short schedule and not the long. He hurt his oblique Friday in a side session and the Sox took a page out of Belichicks playbook and kept quiet.

What about Beckett ?....geesh ....has this guy had an injury plague season or what ?

To do that, Beckett better pitch a helluva lot better than he did in Monday's game when they could have clinched. One potential advantage over 2005 is that Tito can set up the rotation better than he did the last time we tried to defend a title. But we've got to get healthy, fast. The offense has really settled into a funk without Lowell and Drew, and I wonder what Lowell will do when he does play again, and no one knows when Drew's back will lock up again. Yea, but you gotta love Beckett when it comes to playoff time . If he pitches any way close to what he did in the playoffs last year we will have a huge shot at getting back to the Series. Remember in 05 Clement started game 1 !!!!!!!!!!!

I know Lowell is really hurt ..BUT ..he wasn't gimping around last night while splashing champagne on everyone !

Yes, thats it .......he kept saying in the post game interviews "first team to eleven" (wins) and the championship is ours !! See that is a better saying than the one we were raised on as Red Sox fans ...."Wait till next year .........

I always burn music at a low speed like X8 , the reason behind this for me was that i had a lot of errors with the highest speed when it came to audio. For clients i burn the fastest possible just to get them out of my studio quicker

Yeah , I know this seller i won this box for about $120 . Never Saw it ...waited a couple weeks.... nothing , contacted the guy he wouldn't respond , put in a complaint to Paypal and received an email from him within an hour. Then without asking he refunded my money and emailed me saying he did mail it out and when i received it to please paypal him back. Needless to say i never received the box .....................still waiting

Last night on the news they said that in March a barrel of oil was $102 and the price at the pump was $3.13 now a barrel of oil has dropped to $101 and the price here in Mass. is $3.55 ???????
