Is streaming technology saving the music industry?
GA Russell replied to A Lark Ascending's topic in Audio Talk
Neil Young has removed all of his recordings from streaming websites. He says that streaming just doesn't sound good enough. https://www.bing.com/search?q=Neil+Young+streaming+services&filters=tnTID%3a"9C8E94BF-72ED-4744-92E8-77421FA4D5BA"+tnVersion%3a"984348"+segment%3a"popularnow.carousel"+tnCol%3a"14"+tnOrder%3a"df896475-b3f2-48ab-9288-4666060aee46"&efirst=12&FORM=HPNN01 -
Lon, hope it all goes well! I've moved enough for a lifetime, and don't feel like moving again!

Among players younger than me, I like Joey Calderazzo. I saw Carl Schroeder with Roy Haynes and George Adams in Washington, I think the spring of 1970. It was shortly before the Roy Haynes Hip Ensemble album came out. I really enjoyed that concert.

I saw the Offering band in Boston in the summer of '72. Steve Marcus was always one of my favorites, and I really enjoyed it. -

The Argos closed it to 22-20, but couldn't get close enough for a field goal to take the lead. So far I find Amazon's sales to be less appealling than their everyday specials. Here's a sneak peek of what will be on sale tomorrow. http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=176060&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2067573 Walmart has decided to have its own big sale tomorrow. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/business/wp/2015/07/13/wal-mart-takes-a-not-so-subtle-dig-at-amazon-and-offers-an-answer-to-prime-day/ -

Cato was decent, but not as special as last week. ***** BC 35....Saskatchewan 32 http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/game/saskatchewan-roughriders-bc-lions-20150710/Stats http://cfl.ca/article/lions-get-last-roar-in-comeback-win-vs-riders This went into overtime. There has been much talk on the internet about the Riders' play-calling at the end of regulation. They blew a two-score lead with three minutes remaining, and they took a knee at the end instead of trying to win.
