Encouraging exclamations on jazz or blues records

One of my favorites in college was Standing Ovation at Newport by Herbie Mann. During Stolen Moments, Herbie introduces Chick Corea's solo by shouting, "You got it, Chick!" -

Friday: Winnipeg Blue Bombers 22....Toronto Argonauts 16 http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4418782 Not a well-played game, but the close score kept it interesting. ***** Calgary Stampeders 34....British Columbia Lions 32 http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4418825 A snoozer in the first half with a huge number of dropped passes. I went to bed at halftime with the score 7-6. Wouldn't you know it, it turned out to be the best game of the weekend with a wild second half. ***** Saturday: Montreal Alouettes 39....Saskatchewan Roughriders 25 http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4418956 Windy day in Regina. Montreal showed that they were the better team. Calvillo threw 5 TD passes to tie Damon Allen for first place in career TD passes. ***** Edmonton Eskimos 28....Hamilton Tiger-Cats 10 http://64.246.64.33/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4419006 For the second week in a row, the Eskimos looked better than expected, and the Ticats looked worse.

As I recall, Dick Williams played for KC in the first game my dad took me to - Kansas City Athletics vs. Washington Senators, 1959. RIP. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/baseball/hall-of-fame-manager-dick-williams-dead-at-82/article2090735/

Casey Anthony Not Guilty Verdict
GA Russell replied to Dan Gould's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Guy, not to derail the thread, and maybe you already know this, but it is my understanding that that 9% figure means that 9% are collecting unemployment. Last week I read a reference to a website called shadowfacts.com (or something like that) that estimated that the actual unemployment rate is about 25%!!!!! -

Dan, in the US the defense is not obligated to present a case. The burden is on the prosecution. -

I haven't paid attention to the details, but judging by the headlines over the months, I would say that this is definitely an example of being convicted by the press, which I am opposed to. -
Correct, Larry! I've been enjoying the box of the first season of Remington Steele, and I've fallen in love with Stephanie Zimbalist just like I did in 1982! It occurred to me that I've not been aware of what she's been up to for the past twenty years, so I googled a 2011 photo, and this is what I found. Today she's a lovely lady in her mid-50s, but after a steady dose of 1982 Remington Steele, it came as quite a surprise that she looks so different after 30 years. By the way, when I met her she was very charming, but more bland than Laura Holt.

I'm a terrible dancer, but what the heck, I never let that stop me! Twenty years ago when line dancing was popular I was never able to get the hang of it.

No guesses? OK, here's another hint: Her work is featured in the Bargain DVD Box thread.
