  8. Good news: This 8-CD boxed set is available again and for a very reasonable price. Take a look at the Jazzloft website. Previous discussion: Thomas Chapin, box set or individual discs.
  9. I'm thinking of purchasing some of the singles: • Al Cohn/Perkins/Kamuca - The Brothers (MCD-1003) • Jonah Jones - At The Embers (MCD-1017) • Charles Lloyd - Of Course, Of Course (MCD-1006) • Woody Herman - Woody's Winners (MCD-1013)
  10. B Goren I bought this myself months ago and have yet to listen to it, how is the sound? Very reasonable sound. Dont forget that some of these recordings are more than 70 years old. Yea I have some of those McTell recordings on various other Sets but that one looks like it has pretty much all his early recordings. Did you ever get the Shearing MPS trio Set? Not yet but it's on my list.

  12. All the best, Tom!
  13. Jonathan Voltzok is a very talented player. He is Israeli (as well as Barak Mori) and I had the pleasure to see him More than one time in Tel-Aviv.
  14. I was abroad the whole week until yesterday evening and saw this sad massage only today. RIP Freddie.
