Scary Monsters Oscar Wilde Ernest Rutherford

Another great day, musiwise. The headshell was vibrating like mad on Footlose, without affecting the playing. Any particular reason ? Does it wear-out the cartridge? I was happy to find relatively inexpensive records in Paris yesterday (my first LP purchase there in 2 years). At the flea market of Saint-Ouen (technically not in Paris, but 5 min from a metro station). The Urbie Green, some brand new OJC, some Barbieri for 7 euros.

Winchester is a complete new name, and his session with Golson is pretty good!

Brilliants Circles, a 1983 Black Lion reissue, distributed by CARRERE, France. Great session, wonderful Woody, and the sound is not all that bad!

It is the first record with Henry Red Allen that I listen to, and it is a beautiful one!

It is indeed a World Record Club (UK) LP !

Each Ellington record I play becomes my new favorite!
