Georges Delerue: Music for Francois Truffaut's The Last Metro (DRG) Good combination - Truffaut is my favorite director and Delerue is my favorite soundtrack composer.

If you can find a copy, try his big (in size and reach) novel "The Violated." I read and loved it when it came out (1958), and it holds up on re-reading. I've read a couple of Bourjaily's novels, but not that one. I'll look around for it.
