  12. Anyone heard this? Looks like interesting: http://www.worldsrecords.com/cgi-bin/store...mp;phrase=63731
  13. Hey, that one looks interesting! What period does it cover? ... This should cover the period in the late 40's when the label was operative. I am not sure of the precise time frame(1946-1950?). This comes with 56 tracks, and a 36 page booklet. The tracks are here: http://www.play4me.com.au/product/roy_milt...56197_3974.html I ordered it from Red Lick Records: http://www.redlickrecords.co.uk/
  14. Great description in your story, Shawn. I dig those vibes. Money is not everything, more close to a dead end for some. It might be practical to have much, but it's nothing like the real touch of an experience and a good memory.
  15. Well, I am going to check Abeille Music today!

  18. I would like me some Parker on vinyl. Are there any good editions available? Don't know! I've had that one since the 60s! Could have wished for more audiophile vinyl Parker releases available. anyone heard any of these? http://www.vinyl-records.biz/Parker_Charlie.htm or these? http://store.acousticsounds.com/search_res...=Charlie+Parker
  19. All who like my questions are liked by me!
  20. Was my question answered?
  21. When talking about the great "Sound Of Joy" and "Sun Song", I would get the Japanese Mini LP versions or the vinyls for best sound. You should also check out the classic "Jazz In Silhouette". I also love the Evidence CD release of "When Angels Speak Of Love". For many of the 50-60's records originally released on Saturn like "Art Forms Of Dimensions Tomorrow", "Cosmic Tones For Mental Therapy", "My Brother The Wind, Pt.1" and more, the sound are better on the vinyl releases from early 2000, IMHO. Shops like Honest Jon's and System Records in UK have these. The Evidence CD's has great liner notes though, and the "Greatest Hits" from 2000 is a great collection with good sound. "Lanquidity", "Live In Montreux", "On Jupiter", "Sleeping Beauty" and "The Solar Myth Approach, Vol.1" and "The Solar Myth Approach, Vol.2" are also must-haves in my book. For the Solar Myth's the vinyls have the best sound.
  22. Sun Ra - Nidhamu/Dark Myth Equation All new reissue on Art Yard Records. Available from ReR Megacorp.
