Duh, his name is all over the credits at the end of the videos. I mean I heard him mentioned on CNN.

Little Carmine as the manipulator. Makes a lot sense Chris. I thought that Tony's reaction to the Meadow incident was realistic. Actually the guy is lucky he didn't get killed. It was a BIG violation of mob ethics to threaten or otherwise mess with family members that were "civilians". At least with the old timers. I think one of David Chase's points is these guys AREN'T like that. They'll do anything. So I wondered if it was a set up - a machination by Phil to provake a reaction from Tony. You're correct on the fact that they would have never approached the daughter. Tony was right to some extent in saying he could have killed him and had full support. Still, Tony took it upon himself to knock the guy's teeth out and that was an over the top reaction considering the problems he has with New York. Having what happened to his daughter in his pocket would have given him a little ammunition while trying to work a deal with Phil. It would have been up to the Phil as the new boss to offer some kind of restitution and that may have been Tony's 15%.

haha My girlfriend's son doesn't eat meat but does eat all the shit like Cheeze-its, french fries, pizza, white bread and peanut butter, but not nearly enough fruits and vegetables. Biggest problem is he is way too thin for a 16 year old boy and has no muscles. His doctor say he his healthy but advised him the importance of protein from meats at his age. We tried to tell him over the weekend to cut the crap and at least start eating chicken and fish. We'll see if he follows the word of the wise.

I think that would be Paulie who is the "someone." We know he was doing that for a while with Johnny Sac, and seems likely that he would continue with Phil, though I don't recall any direct evidence of this. You would think Paulie is the most obvious, but as you just mentioned they have never shown Paulie and Phil together, of course that could still happen. Originally I was thinking it may very well be more along the lines of Carmine Jr. as that someone. When you look back it was Tony that set Phil up to be boss in the first place when he had Rusty killed at the request of New York and sided against Carmine. Maybe he's not as dumb as everybody thinks and is setting himself up for a major move. Then again....., maybe not. As usual Tony went too far with his reaction on that incident with Meadow and now he will pay a huge price. If the previews are to be believed, next week should be explosive.

I don't fault the guy for starting the "girls gone wild" business. However, dude was caught on tape convincing minors to lie about their age. When he was busted he agreed to settle the case out of court and ended up in the clink when he failed to pay the settlement. He has a long history of this type of thing and it finally caught up to him. He also seems to have a problem touching girls when they say no and that ain't cool. The rest of the trouble Francis is facing is all tax fraud related, so fuck him, there is no one to blame besides himself. Fair enough. OTOH, it is common practice for girls to lie about their age....with or without the benefit of being in a video. The alcohol, then, becomes a convenient excuse for those girls to foist blame rather than actully take any personal responsibility for their own actions. "It wasn't my fault" they might say or "He took advantage of me when I was drunk." Most importantly, however, is the glaring issue of girls getting drunk in the first place...underaged girls. What I'm saying is Joe Francis is a conveinet target for some rather selective moralizing on the part of these girls who were filmed and/or those who take offense to flashing in public. Make sense? Sure, that part all makes sense. I realize the girls are ignorant for letting it happen and are not blameless. That shit with the underage girls is not his real problem though. His real problem was making the settlement deal and than trying to back out of it. Of course that is not near as serious as what he faces for bullshitting the man. Francis is an arrogant "wannabe celebrity" douchebag. This whole story is funny to me for that reason alone. Toss in his crying in jail and the bonus of bribes for bottled water and drugs and it's a trifecta of comedy.

I think that's commendable. Maybe she's owning up to responsibility. It'll be interesting to see how long she actually serves. Not because she'll get off easy because she's "famous," but because the jails have been so overcrowded that in most offenses like these (less than 60 or 90 day sentences I believe) the perp only serves a day or two - or is even just "processed through" without staying. But if that happened to Paris - if she really got treated like the average Joe - there'd be folks rioting in the streets that she got off because of her celebrity. I suspect this is why her attorney is not filing an appeal. They are reporting she will probably serve 20 days maximum and is going to be in a "special needs housing unit" which is where they send public officials and jailed cops. So, it will be 20 very easy days all things considered. She should be well rested and ready to partay when released. -
I had the same problem you did, but eventually got back to where the forums are.

Talk about a hit reality show I would actually watch.

Nah, he's too much of a punk to feel sorry for.

What did you say? If you watch with closed captioning on, the dialog appears printed on your screen. I'm aware of that. I was attempting to make a joke as if I couldn't hear JSngry. Which in itself is a joke since he typed the words out.

I didn't know that the fuckhead "Girls Gone Wild" dude was in jail for contempt. What's even more funny is that he is looking at additonal charges for possesion of drugs and bribery of a guard. To top it all off he has a tax evasion indictment to face in Nevada. All this and crying like a bitch! Joe Francis isn't wild....
