  1. This year's final four teams are the last 4 Stanley Cup Champions Eastern finals Penguins & Bruins ended series early...Western Chicago and reigning champs Kings just went 7 games to advance should be a really good home stretch!
  2. With your 2 cents put in every 20 posts or so Chuck all will be fine!
  3. I'm so glad the voice of reason has come forward among us. Most of all today, I am so bummed about the passing of Mulgrew Miller
  4. When I saw Mulgrew on Woody Shaw's band ( the one with Steve Turre & Carter Jefferson ), and the one mentioned in post#12 there was no doubt in my mind that Mulgrew Miller was going to make his mark for years to come! From those times forward, I rarely missed a chance to see him as he attained a very special level few ever do....RIP
  5. This entire fuss & post deleting over nothing (really) is like the young parents who incessantly wipe everything down everywhere trying to avoid completely little junior ever picking up a single germ. My daughter & I have laughed our asses off over this type of thing when my grand daughter was little and she'd take the wipes supplied by the entrance of a super market and swabbed the shopping cart handle; asked how did she ever survive her childhood without all these wipe down strategies? Around here, it kind of feels like some are deathly afraid they might pick up some of those JazzCorner germs:-))

  7. Me too certainly, and if memory serves that's the place where I met you 'Sis, where we met eventually along with many others!! The *stuff* (which would spin out of control from time to time) was part of the strength of the place...would allow people to get after it with one another; more times than not would spark discussions. Your opinion may vary;-)) Other places, specifically this one and AAJ pretty much don't allow disagreeing 'loudly,' which is NOT a put_down....just the way they choose to moderate/operate.

  12. Lin is a great story, but it is readily apparent why the Knicks didn't match his over inflated salary as Houston highly over paid for a guy who is only a 'nice' player. L.A. is the place where Howard will get paid the most and will rake in the outside endorsements, but who knows with him?
