sal
I bought some nice catfish fillets on sale at my local market, but I've never cooked catfish before. I know frying is an option, but I have a grill as well, and would like to try to go that route if possible (trying to eat healthier). However, I don't mind frying either. Can anyone help me out in this dept, with regards to cooking times, flame sizes, or ways to season them? I appreciate any help you can give! Thanks. jazzbo
That would be my recommendation too. . . though they're mighty tasty "blackened" but I've never personally prepared them that way. . . .
JSngry
Fry them. Use peanut oil. Throw some cayenne pepper in some corn meal and some salt, use the wash, and fry them puppies up. And speaking of puppies, don't you DARE serve the fried fish w/o hushpuppies.
Harold_Z
I'm for the above advice. Fry 'em ala Sangrey. Anybody know if UNCLE BUD'S Catfish is dredged in 100% corn meal?
