jeffcrom Posted April 13, 2017 Report Posted April 13, 2017 Improvisational Arts Quntet - NO COMPROMISE! (Prescription). Alvin Fiedler's group with Kidd Jordan, Kent Jordan, Clyde Kerr, Jr., and Elton Heron. The liner notes make a big deal over the fact the the title was deliberately presented in all capital letters, so I followed suit. Quote

From the illustrations I have a second edition mono. Â I'm surprised as I got mine as soon as it became available in the UK. Was the first edition very limited and didn't make it over here? Quote

clifford_thornton Posted April 13, 2017 Report Posted April 13, 2017 I would assume that the "editions" came around the same time and were probably mixed together, given ESP's practices and the quick change of address from Stollman's parents' house to the 5th Ave. office. Quote

Apart from the different labels I can only find one difference: the first stereo edition weighs only 130 g, the second 140 g. All other editions weigh 140 g. The engravings in the dead wax are unchanged! Quote
