connoisseur series500 Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Would like to know if it is possible to delete posts. I started a poll in ARTISTS and it came out about ten times! Quote
Use3D Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I cleaned it up. Only cyborgs and moderators can delete topics. Be more careful next time. EDIT: Was Just informed that the preview function in the poll generation code may be defective. I'll get this sorted out, maybe do some experiments in the secret forum...heh Quote

Use3D Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Good, although I wasn't able to reproduce the problem yet, one thing that may help is to avoid using your browsers Back and Foward buttons to navigate the post/poll creation screens. Quote

Actually, I did use the "back" browser when I first set up that poll. Maybe that was the source of the trouble. Won't do that again. Quote

Yes, I've noticed that that tactic does seem to produce multiple posts, it would probably follow too (although I haven't actually noticed it myself) that using the back/forward buttons would produce multiple threads as well.
