— previously unreleased 1945 Town Hall performance!

— with Al Haig, Curley Russell & Max Roach

— from acetates discovered in a flea market!

I just received a new transfer yesterday. I have to live with it a few days to decide if I approve.

Yes indeed. Jim Sangrey's description posted elsewhere does great justice to this remarkable recording; having heard the DAT, I'll be very eager to see the booklet that Sunenblick & co. provide with the CD. Uptown always does such a great job with that.
