Their first major tour in support of Licensed to Ill was with RUN-DMC, but I take it you mean someone else.

I don't think I will buy this record. I read a review that described it as sounding "a lot like their last record except with better beats and really corny lyrics." If the single is any indication, that sounds about right.

I like the Beasties' brand of cornyness. :g

I bought it, and have listened to 8-9 tracks. It sounds very old school, much more so than their last album. I don't agree that it has better beats than their last album, though. The songs seem shorter and more focused. There's more foul language than on previous releases, it seems. There's at least one track that's political in nature, which is something I don't remember hearing on other albums (there's something about "we got a president we didn't elect) in one of the songs.

If you like the Beastie Boys, pick it up. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I got it as part of my kids' Fathers Day gifts, and I like it just fine. My favorite cut is #7, for many different resons. True, nithing new, not even a little, but those guys crack me up with their rhymes and overall attitude.

An instrumental called "Sneakin' Out Of The Hospital" is on the same album as "Song For Junior."

Not really an instrumental, but "Something's Got To Give" isn't a rap song--and is among their finest artistic achievements, imo.
