I have always been satisfied with the Downtown Music Gallery. Very quick shipping. I haven't tied their new search system (a few weeks old I think).

I'm wondering if there may be a problem. I ordered last Wednesday and there is still no charge on my credit card, no CD in my mailbox and no email, anything at all from DMG.

DMG is a very small store run by two guys. They can get busy. I usually give them a call and check in if I want to order something from them. You'll usuallu get Bruce or Manny who, although gruff, is very helpful.

Look what been added at the Jazzmatazz upcoming releases for 2005 & beyond:

Max Roach/Archie Shepp - The Long March Vol I & II - 2 CDs (Hatology 602)

Now if someone would just re-release Roach/Shepp: Force from 1976

just placed my first order through squidco.com for a few hat hut releases.

hat huts (that I looked at) are $17.95 - all of the other places from whom I've purchased have upped their prices to $20 for the newer releases. two disc hat hut releases are $23.95

i placed my first order with them on march 9th:

Roach, Max & Braxton, Anthony: One In Two Two In One (Label: Hatology) $17.95

Braxton, Anthony: Charlie Parker Project (Label: Hatology) $23.95

Taylor, Cecil Unit: One Too Many Salty Swift and Not Goodbye (Label: Hatology) $23.95

Haco: Stereo Bugscope 00 (Label: Improvised Music From Japan) $18.95

Kam-Pas-Nel-La (Haco, Parkins, Bennett, Uchihashi): Volume 1 (Label: Innocent) $15.95

order received march 11th from new york to california. two items are on back order (the two in bold), but they have free domestic shipping.
