wesbed Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 I wonder how much money xricci will obtain? Quote
Jazzmoose Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Um. I'm sure this will draw a negative response from some, particularly as we have an overlap in posters, but aside from how tacky it sounds to me, asking for donations so he can make a buck, comparing a for-profit endeavor to public radio is goofy as hell. PHILLYQ Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 The cds are probably promo copies that he got. Someone on AAJ posted that they saw Ricci selling promo copies at a record fair, complete with the artist's business card, etc. still sealed. The poster questioned the ethics of that and the profiteering off a disc that wasn't even played. Ricci responded in a big huff about how he was only trying to raise money, blah blah blah, but never actually answered to the ethical question. Tacky... Quote
Jazzmoose Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Tacky hell; I'd go all the way to 'fucked up' on that one... Quote
