bertrand Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 (edited) I was disappointed to see that Jackie is not scheduled to play with Cedar Walton at the Vanguard this year. I know Jackie will be a guest with the Diz tribute band at the Blue Note for three nights next week, but I probably cannot make it. Kevin Bresnahan Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Jackie's currently listed in the Gillespie tribute band's stop at The Regattabar from October 27-30. I have tickets to the 30th show. However, Jackie just cancelled his November visit to Yoshi's so his health might be a problem again. I have to wonder if he'll show up at either Gillespie tribute show. I'm expecting a last minute sub. Later, Kevin Quote

He had two gigs this summer - the Gillespie band at Newport and that thing in Baalbek (sp?). Does anyone know if he made those? I'm glad I saw four sets in May at the Iridium. Bertrand.
