Guy Berger Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 I went to see this tonight... way better than I expected. But given how much The Nation is whining about it, I shouldn't have been surprised. Guy Quote
BruceH Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 One of the better recent Pixar offerings, though I like 'em all. If you like this, check out Brad Bird's other movie, The Iron Giant. Quote
RDK Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 One of the better recent Pixar offerings, though I like 'em all. "One of the better ones?" Toy Story A Bug's Life Toy Story 2 Monsters, Inc. Finding Nemo Quote
Alexander Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Big Pixar fan here. This is undoubtedly their best film to date, and probably the best superhero movie of all time... Quote
RDK Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Ya think Brad Bird likes the Fantastic Four? Very enjoyable movie, but my favorite Pixar film remains Monsters Inc. Quote

Use3D Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Nemo was crappy, it wasn't even funny. Ellen Degenerate also makes me vomit. Incredibles however, was very funny and one of the better Pixar flicks. Toy Story 2 was the last one I remotely liked. Quote
Big Al Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 What Sal said! I’m just hoping the DVD has some kind of commentary or pop-up screen that explains all the culture references and in-jokes. Did anyone else think of Maximilian from The Black Hole when Mr. Incredible was fighting that robot the first time? Quote
Brad Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 (edited) Saw it on Saturday. Very good. Even my 13 year old son who I had to drag to it liked it. My favorites Pixars are still Toy Story. Didn't see Nemo, though. Having read the Nation article posted by Guy after I first posted this, I suppose there may be something to what they say although I was probably to thick to see it.
