Alon Marcus Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 So many participants of the board were born today (and also in the last few days). Excuse me for my laziness. Happy birthday to you all! Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Yes! Perfect! One big for all. Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 Yeah, it's my wife's birthday too - so HB to all. B-) It is Max Roach's day as well. Quote
Christiern Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I think Organissimo members (wives of, that is) have babies approximately 9 months after the board has suffered a breakdown. What else to do? Just a theory, mind you--no scientific data. Quote
AfricaBrass Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 As one of those conceived in March, I thank you! Quote
scottb Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Date of conception for a baby born Jan 10 is more like April 20th. That would be if you went to 40 full weeks gestation. Could even be later if the baby comes a little early. Two of my kids were conceived in March and were born October. The third was conceived in May and delivered Dec 31. All were a couple weeks early at least however. Quote
scottb Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Interesting note (maybe not) OB GYNs count gestation from last menstrual period rather than from ovulation because ovulation can be so variable and most ladies can tell you when their last period was. So really they are counting two weeks (between mentruation and ovulation) that there is no pregnancy! Length of gestation is really 38 weeks. If you want to count from last menstrual period fine, but find another term for it. Don't call it weeks of gestation! Quote
