tranemonk
generally I have only bought Mosaic sets which focus on an individual. I have 15 or so boxes on mostly be-bop related folks (E.g. Turrentine, Lee Morgan, Art Blakey, etc.) I have stayed away from Mosiac sets which focus on a particular period of time and/or a label for 2 reasons. One, it seems to me there's a lot more selectivety of what Mosaic chooses to include (or not)... and two, generally speaking that tends to be a lot of the pre-1950 stuff (which I'm not that familar with).... I was looking at these two sets (not that I've got the $$ to get either of them now).... but if I do get one of these in the near future, which would you recommend and why??? thanks....
