Joe G
I just heard about it today. I may stop by a brick and morter on the way home!
Daniel Andresen
I saw him in Israel last june, with Joshua Redman & Bred Mehlldau. I must admit that his sidemen were much better than him...

Its the same band on this album that he had on that tour, except for Jeff Ballard and Ali Jackson rotate in the drum chair. I believe they recorded it right after the tour. It shows. Aggie87
I picked up a promo copy a couple of weeks ago, and really like it! Rosenwinkel, Mehldau, Redman, Larry Grenadier, and either Jeff Ballard or Ali Jackson. They are really cohesive, as sal alludes to. Well worth picking up. I've like all the KR that I've heard so far! Alfred
I cannot say that I don't like it. But 74 minutes is too much. After 40 minutes everything is said. It's a problem I have with many new releases. Another benefit of the good old LP!
CJ Shearn
I have it, and enjoy it, maybe one of the few things I've heard this year that is outstanding. One criticism tho, I think Rosenwinkel's compositions are very interesting, at this point they seem more about his head then heart. "Use of Light" and "Brooklyn Sometimes" as well as "The Cross" are tunes I can find a couple melodic hooks in. I bought "Heartcore" the same day too...... thats a head trip! kh1958
I just saw him at the Iridium a couple of weeks ago, with Mark Turner. The two of them sound quite good together. It was quite a good concert.
