Vocals and bass (alone)

Just curious on recordings out there with only bass and vocals.

Off the top of my head I can only recall Sheila Jordan´s discs:

-I´ve grown accustomed to the bass, on Highnote (with Cameron Brown)

-Sheila Jordan & Arild Andersen, on Steeplechase

-Old time feeling / The very thought of two / Songs from within (all three with Harvie Swartz)

And then there´s that Dave Holland-Jeanne Lee duo (Mingus meditations) on the later´s "Natural affinities".

Any more?

They didn't even do that tune - the CD was simply titled Duets, recorded in 1988 for Nippon Phonogram.

There are two astonishing takes of Love in the middle of the air by Dee Dee Bridgewater and Reggie Workman, composed by and released under the name of German/Polish composer Heiner Stadler on Labor Records - very hot, intriguing stuff!

Karin Krog did a slendid vocal with bass duet of Round Midnight that was from a festival in Europe and released on Enja. I have the record but I can't lay hands on it at the moment. Can't quite remember the bassist's name (Arild Anderson?).
