bertrand Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Whew...I finished my project from hell, no thanks to my goofball co-workers (except the one who worked her buns off, and who, through some fluke of nature, happens to be by far the prettiest woman in the office - so work isn't total hell ). Time to go home for some shut-eye. Maybe tomorrow night I'll listen to some music for a change. Bertrand. Quote
Brad Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I know the feeling. Didn't get home until 830 tonight but got the contract out the door. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Doesn't work just suck? Espically when you get stuck putting in all those extra hours with nothing inreturn, not even a thanks from the powers to be. Quote

For the past few months I have been trying to complete some research. in the end it took over my whole life (well that is the way it seemed). Then it was completed and the feeling is fantastic. It is not always easy to relax, listen to some jazz or read a book or two. Che. Quote

bertrand Posted March 17, 2005 Author Report Posted March 17, 2005 Of course, the project isn't really done. My part is over, but I have to whip these lazy SOBs into shape to actually look at their data and figure out why the numbers are so different from last year's. They were actually trying to pawn off this responsibility on the computer programmers. The nerve. Bertrand. Quote
