What exactly makes this a likely scam? The guy gives reasonable disclaimers, and obviously some people believed what he's saying about this item.

Perhaps "scam" was a little harsh, but I'm sorry if I find the item description a little suspicious. And how the hell does showing a picture of Bix carrying a instrument case validate the item's authenticity.

It reminds me of story I heard from a musician friend. A friend of his (I know - this is reaching hearsay level) said he was in LA stopped waiting for a red light when he looked over at the next car and saw........Stan Getz and Keith Richards !
