Yes they did.. 2. Yes he did.. 3. Yes we did (Pistons no more than anybody in the playoffs, stop bitching) 4. Yes they did.. 5. Yes he was and he hasn't seen anything yet, wait until Pistons exert full court pressure possession after possession... 6. Have fun Soulstation, it is a pleasure doing business with ya.... peace Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 I have confidence in my boyz. I think they're gonna pull it out again tonight. Quote

Soulstation1 Posted May 26, 2005 Author Report Posted May 26, 2005 ok.. the heat took care of bidnezzz in game two flash had a HUGE game Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Now it's a series again! Gotta give it to Wade, he stepped up. My prediction? The Pistons split the next two in Detroit and that's the last game the Heat will win. Quote
BruceW Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 (edited) I disagree, Pistons take next two at home. Split games 5 and 6; Pistons win 4-2. The Pistons blew a golden opportunity with inconsistency and lack of energy. They never utilized the full court press to its fullest either. I really hate to say this but I wonder if the team knew about this rumor going around about the coach, Brown, leave to Cleveland for some exec position and probably coaching also. Brown is known to quit and go where he can "teach." He probably doesn't feel there is any more teaching to be done in Detroit, only execution. This was no time for that kind of stuff. Damn Edited May 26, 2005 by BruceW Quote

Soulstation1 Posted May 26, 2005 Author Report Posted May 26, 2005 i looked like 'sheed was swimming out on the court does the daddy really hook people?? Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 i looked like 'sheed was swimming out on the court does the daddy really hook people?? ← That was a pretty blatant hook. Then again, people pummel Shaq without getting called, so it evens out. That said, it was interesting how Shaq and Wade can hold Ben Wallace's arms under the basket (one of each) so he can't even get off the ground to try and get an offensive rebound and that's not a foul (or two). Why are these games so spread apart!? Suns/Spurs not until tomorrow and the Pistons/Heat Sunday?! Criminey. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 27, 2005 Author Report Posted May 27, 2005 we should have games on fri/sun in one series and sat/mon on the other Quote
BruceW Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Think NBA might be giving extra day rest to all four teams to prepare for final run on Title Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 30, 2005 Author Report Posted May 30, 2005 (edited) i thought if a player was cut / bleeding on the court, he had to leave the game and change jerseys / clean up? billups' lip/inside of his mouth was cut and bleeding during 2 free-throws speaking of free-throws and shaq Edited May 30, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote

Even the announcers said, "He got fouled at least three times there and no call!!" That was total bullshit. Pistons will win the next one. And then they'll come down to Miami and win that one. And then finish up at home. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 I still think the Pistons will win the series. Now if Miami wins the next game then... Quote
Noj Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 I only caught part of this during my layover in SF...the Pistons erased a Miami lead and looked well on the way to winning. I departed with little doubt they'd take it, and was shocked to read the outcome. The much-maligned Eddie Jones is stepping up, 19 points I read. He can't guard Rip, but he's doing his best to match Rip's energy on both ends. Quote
BruceW Posted May 30, 2005 Report Posted May 30, 2005 (edited) Pistons should regroup and win next game..... Larry Brown did irreparable damage allowing that information leak about his quitting coaching at this time. AND has the nerve to say he is interested in executive office in CLEVELAND, no less. He is now a lame duck coach... Team has lost confidence, cohesiveness Well, to tell the truth, I could expect no less from Brown. Edited May 30, 2005 by BruceW Quote

Guy ← A repeat is really an accomplishment nowadays. It is bad enough when players make stupid decisions but for the coach to do this is unforgiveable. NOTE: Have to question Dan Gilbert demanding a decision of Brown before the playoffs were over also. He already destroyed the Cavaliers season this year. Bruce Edited May 31, 2005 by BruceW Quote
