catesta Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 This show was the topic of conversation at Jimmy Buff's in West Orange NJ the other day at lunch. It does not appear to be a very popular show. I caught clips of it a couple of weeks ago when watching a Brown interview. It looks bad, real bad. Quote
Soul Stream Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 Can't wait to see it, now that it's been affirmed to be horrible!!!! I love this kind of stuff....sorry.... Quote
Christiern Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 If you like to see people make fools of themselves, you will really love this show. If you like Houston and Brown, you will probably hate it. Quote
wesbed Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 C'mon. Bobby and Whitney do this television show for money. They do what they believe will get people to watch the show. It could be, what they believe will get people to watch the show, will not. Still, they do this show for money... they do what the director says. Wasn't there some news story that parts of the reality show Survivor were staged to make it more interesting to watch? Quote
Soulstation1 Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 does whitney really NEED any money?? now bobby is a different story he's has 5/6 kids Quote

Wasn't there some news story that parts of the reality show Survivor were staged to make it more interesting to watch? ← They do what the director says? I think not. First of all, they put up the money, secondly, the director (if there is one) or camera operator(s) follow what the couple does. I am sure that Bobby Brown gets some control for his (or Whitney's) money. Also, to compare this to "Survivor" makes no sense. Yes, many aspects of "Survivor" are staged, but it's an entirely different kind of show. If the Browns need money that bad, they have less embarrassing means of earning it. I seriously doubt that they are making a spectacle of themselves strictly for the money. As I recall, Brown had the idea that this would be good for their image--it is, of course, having exactly the opposite effect. Quote
