jlhoots
I have a chance to see Pat Metheny with Christian McBride, Antonio Sanchez & "special guest" David Sanchez. What say you?

Ed S
Metheny excels in these small group settings. For those who look upon the work of the Pat Metheny Group with disdane, it's an opportunity to see him display hs "real jazz" chops. I'm a huge Metheny fan and love the PMG. But hearing Metheny interpret some of his classic PMG tunes in a more straight ahead setting is always something special. The rest of the quartet - I'm honestly not too familiar with David Sanchez, but Antonio Sanchez and Christian McBrie are outstanding. So, GO! I dunno, I've always thought Christian McBrie is too cheesy. Guy
Jazz Kat
I wouldn't go out of my way to find out where him and his quartet were playing, as opposed to going to see the Metheny Group, but I'd go.
