GregN Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Creole Gallery Venue for national acts. Intimate and great sounding room. This is a concert venue. Tickets are limited, so, if you are so inclined, act fast. g Quote
GregN Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 Tonight's the night... I got me a date with the Mrs., and we are getting some grubbage before hand. Should be a funky good time. Quote

jazzbo Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Organic air-chilled chicken breast that I marinated in Herdez tomatillo sauce last night and baked this morning; with mashed Yukon Gold potatoes and steamed asparagus. Come on five o'clock! Quote

Believe it or not, that trust company building was recently converted to a Ritz-Carlton Hotel (along with the neighboring office tower). It has quite an impressive lobby under that beautiful rotunda. GregN Posted October 15, 2005 Author Report Posted October 15, 2005 Well I finally got to see the fellas play tonight (it's been a while), and it was my first time in the Creole Gallery. Great show and a great room! A little over 70 people situated in a very cozy performance space with nice lighting and a nice stage. Fellow musician and good friend Andy Wilson of the band Steppin In It showed up to play on Brother Ray and did a fantastic job. Not to be outdone Randy stepped out from behind the drums and the two had a friendly head cuttin' session that had the crowd going wild. Jim and Joe sounded great, and the whole band received a standing ovation at the end of Pumpkin Pie. There is just something about that song live... Quote
