The only sucka I see in this thread is some foo' who goes by the name of a particular Hank Mobley record.

SUCKA!!!

:g:bwallace::bwallace::bwallace: :bwallace2:

Keep in mind, State would've won the game last year had Stanton not gotten injured in the third quarter. State was blowin' them chumps OUT last year until then. And you better believe that's on his mind this time around.

PAYBACK time!!!!

My Aggies looked absolutely AWFUL today against Baylor...even though we won 16-13 in overtime. That's two years in a row of playing poorly against the lowly Baylor Bears.

Reggie McNeal was held in check all day today, and probably just killed his Heisman chances.

And the schedule hasn't really been tough yet, that's the bad thing. Our defense is terrible, and if our offense isn't on their game, we're in big trouble.

If State loses, the whole town will be in flames.

;)

Burn, Baby Burn!

The town was OK, but the traffic after the game was hell. It took me almost an hour to get out of it on my way to I-96 to go to Ann Arbor.

I know we have another thread going but it was an honor to watch and listen to Sonny Rollins tonight. Like how Miles said about Duke, Sonny too has taken in all schools of jazz and made them his. He didn't necessary do 30-minute solos and mesmerize. But you sure could hear the history of saxophone over two hours. At one point, he sounded like Hawk, then Prez, then Ben, then back to young Sonny, etc. etc. etc. A true master at work.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't say how awed I was by Al Foster. So many nuances while keeping perfect time ... He truly is wonderful.

Now for a cheer they are here,

triumphant!

Here they come with banners flying,

In stalwart step they're nighing,

Far we their praises sing

For the glory and fame they've bro't us

Loud let the bells them ring

For here they come with banners flying

For the glory and fame they've bro't us

Loud let the bells them ring

For here they come with banners flying

Hail! to the victors valiant

Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes

Hail! Hail! to Michigan

the leaders and best

Hail! to the victors valiant

Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes

Hail! Hail! to Michigan,

the champions of the West!

We cheer them again

We cheer and cheer again

a guy at the barbershop has $100 on stanford to win straight up vs USC

usc is up 38-0 with 8 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter

:D

A couple SC players from their prep days... 3-4 number one picks come NFL draft day. Sadly, one(#19) is a tight end at UCLA. Long Beach Poly(CA)...SI's number one high school for athletics over the last ten years. A book was written about this teams loss to De la Salle(151-0, until they lost last year).

Sorry, but Snoop(Calvin Broadus, Poly alum) was not on this team, but he did play some hoops for Poly and take a math class with Cameron Diaz(Poly cheer squad).

Snoop may ruin Poly's football with his new Pop Warner league that competes with the league that's been around since the 60's and has turned out Poly players:

Tony Hill(Dallas Cowboys)

LARRY CROOM (Cardinals)

WillieMcGinest.jpg

WILLIE MC GINEST(Patriots)

Samie Parker (KC)

Omar Stoutmire(NY Giants)

Brandon Whiting (San Fran)..plus another 40 NFL players over the years.

anyone see Coach Snoop Dogg at the USC game?

fo shizzle.....

Unreal!!! I don't know about Snoop(Calvin Broadus). He has single handedly ruined youth football in his hometown so his kid could QB. Most from his hometown and neighborhood despise him. No sense of tradition(that goes back many, many years) and class.
