andybleaden Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 Not seen this before from France a rare ( ish) 45 cover Nice cover for a single Do you think I should send to it to the chappeis at Gokudo? Quote
brownie Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 This was a pretty big hit in France back in those days. Don Wilkerson's 'Camp meeting' was the opening tune for the widely popular 'Pour Ceux Qui Aiment le Jazz' (For Those who Like Jazz) radio show on Europe 1 radio in the early '60s. Copies of this 45 show up off and on around here. Quote
JSngry Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 'Pour Ceux Qui Aiment le Jazz' (For Those who Like Jazz) ← Thank god! I thought it was saying "Poor Soul Who Is Sick Of Jazz"! Quote
clifford_thornton Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 That is a great tune... I'd like to find a copy of that 45, though I'll bet PJC would still charge 60 Euros for it! Quote
