Thanks Greg and Scott.  I'll be on the lookout for Michigan organissimo.com members.

Maybe I should set up a ticket giveaway?

Oh fine, now that you know I am giggin' elsewhere

you want to set up the ticket giveaway.

I see how it is here. lol, nice.

;)

But seriously, I'll spread the word to my Detroit friends (outside the board).

And a ticket giveaway could be a nice gesture. Nicer if I were gettin' some, but

ya know, it would still be cool. :)

Glad you're working. Gigs are good. :)

I believe the Detroit Symphony offers ticket giveaways through WDET and WEMU, but I was considerering a comp for that special organissimo.com poster.

Michael, our daughter lives in the area and is always looking for "jazz" gigs to take her friends. I'll forward this thread and maybe you get 2 more tickets sold.

That would be great. If she can attend be sure to tell her to say hello.

If you came to play in Denver, I'd definitely be there.

I played in Denver last year with the Vanguard Monday night band, but it was a private event. Greg Gisbert was on hand. (One of the best players to ever come out of Denver). Hope to get back there one of these days.

I've got one comp ticket for the first lucky Organissimo member to contact me in the next 48 hours.

Maybe if you expand the pool of applicants beyond Joe, Jim & Randy you'll get more nibbles! :P

I meant Organissimo forum members, not just Organissimo band members!

Sorry, but I'm 195 miles away. :( Otherwise, I'm always up for comps. :)

You should know better than to ask the performer. But, in a word...nice. Went over to Baker's afterwards. Soulful.

"You should know better than to ask the performer."

Yeah, I know. One's own worst critic.

I am sure it was smokin'.

Baker's is a gem. Did you meet John Colbert? He is the owner and a very cool guy. organissimo is recording there this weekend, btw.
