aaaaaaaawwww, man! I'm gonna miss ol' Arkwright.

I checked the news and was surprised to hear that

Ronnie Corbett (who's leading a tribute) was still alive.

I thought he'd died many years ago.

Very sad news....a really funny and very clever man

Favourite bits:

THAT till in the Open All Hours series

His 'serious' lectures on the 2 Ronnies...I here today to talk you about : etc

The silent films he used to do ...classic

But the favourite was the two old chappies on the allotment chewing the fat

and maybe in Porridge where he is asked by Godber

Fletch?? You asleep

Yes!

or

Of course I trust you, if there's one person I know didn't nick my pineapples it's you...besides when you were in the shower I went through all your gear.

This is sad news. He was a class act but gave lots of laughs to many. :(

When I think of Ronnie Barker it takes me right back to the 1970s, when the 'Two Ronnies' was pretty well a national institution here in the UK and regularly topped the polls. Their song and dance routines could be hilarious. Cutting humour, right on the money but never offensive. Big :tup for that.

Oh yes, the injustice.

Sorry news. he really was a funny guy, even made prison seem humourous.
