I already traded in my domestic version a while back and upgraded to the K2 remasters, which in every instance have been better than the old US box. I've had the domestic box for a long time. . . . Have some of the sessions in upgrades. . . . When you factor in the shipping, you (ispace) will still save close to $90. They'd probably be cheaper in the end. Good point, definitely something to think about......although, FWIW, the SACDs seem to run $19-25 and the new Evans K2's will run $21 before shipping. Probably works out about the same. BTW, there's another Evans title ('Montreux') due out in Japan in December that's packaged in a 12x12 replica LP cover? I don't think I've ever seen a cd packaged that way....have you? Seems a bit awkward. Not sure I want to start filing away cds on the shelf with my lps.
