Spontooneous Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 ...so celebrate quietly please... ... and for a very long time ... (About an hour ago, I came home from the used record store with a copy of one of those Mode CDs. Then I saw this thread. Another happy coincidence in the Coptic tapestry of life...) Quote
clifford_thornton Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 My mom works for the Rothko Chapel. She's pretty fired up on Feldman, and hopefully they'll get their shit together and have the piece performed publicly for the first time in a while. Happy Birthday Morty! And thanks, 7/4, for posting those wonderful photos. But who is that guy from Sunburned Hand of the Man standing with him? Quote

I guess you're talking about the Terry Riley shot? I feel like I should be buying scores and studying them. I'd like to have a closer look at Triadic Mammaries. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I'd like to have a closer look at Triadic Mammaries. I often feel the same way. Two is just not always enough. Quote

Why have two when there's the possibility of three. Folks spend way too much time thinking about 4' 33" when there's other issues to explore. Quote
