How do you create polls with this new version of the software?

I tried to create a poll but couldn't get it to work. Can someon explain how it works in this version of the software?

What is the problem? The new software uses a different method to create polls, but it should be self-explanatory.

Poll Options

If you have chosen to post a new poll, there will be an extra two option boxes at the top of the help screen. The first input box will allow you to enter the question that you are asking in the poll. The text field underneath is where you will input the choices for the poll. Simply enter a different option on each line. The maximum number of choices is set by the board admin, and this figure is displayed on the left.

I've followed these directions before but my "poll" showed up as a regular thread, only displaying my comments, not my poll question or choices.

So its not just Tom who has a problem.

Yes, that is precisely what happened with me.

It works like this:

1) Go to the forum you'd like to post a poll in.

2) Click the "New Topic" button.

3) Enter a Topic Title and a Topic Description (optional)

4) Click on "Click here to manage this topic's poll" next to "Poll Options"

5) Enter a Poll Title

6) Click on "Add Poll Questions" to begin the poll.

7) Enter a "Poll Content"

8) Click on "Add Poll Choice"

9) Add as many choices as you'd like.

10) Enter something in the regular post box (you must type something here or the poll won't go through... it could be as simple as a smiley)

11) Add another question or just click on "Post New Topic" to finish.

Jim, there are steps in there that you didn't mention but since it somehow worked for me this time (I swear i did the exact same thing last time), thanks.
