Ken Dryden Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 One of things that I admire the most about Nat Hentoff is that he can't be labeled one of those politically correct schmucks. How many atheists do you know that are pro-life? It must drive some of his ACLU colleagues nuts! No matter what the subject, Nat Hentoff demonstrates passion and knowledge of it, whether you agree with him or not. Quote
Lazaro Vega Posted February 1, 2006 Author Report Posted February 1, 2006 Isn't it sad that the last great television program he was involved in was The Sound of Jazz? Quote

PHILLYQ Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 Excellent interview- thanks for posting it, Lazaro a BIG for Hentoff, both for his jazz work and his very vital work in attempting to preserve the Bill of Rights. BRAVO, Nat!!! Quote
Lazaro Vega Posted February 2, 2006 Author Report Posted February 2, 2006 New York jazz guitarist Joel Fass sent the link. He came through with trumpeter John Eckert two summers ago playing Tim Scully's "World Class Jazz Tour" ( west Michigan ). Quote
Lazaro Vega Posted February 14, 2006 Author Report Posted February 14, 2006 I see Nat Hentoff will be featured on "Piano Jazz" this week for those of you who have NPR stations who carry it. Blue Lake will broadcast the Hentoff program at 10 a.m. this Saturday morning. www.bluelake.org Quote
