Bright Moments Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 i came across this while reading "Timequake" by Kurt Vonnegut (page 84): "I do not propose to discuss my love life. I will say that I still can't get over how women are shaped, and I will go to my grave wanting to pet their butts and boobs. I will say, too, that lovemaking, if sincere, is one of the best ideas Satan put in the apple she gave to the serpent to give to Eve. The best idea in that apple, though, is making jazz." Quote
Bright Moments Posted April 4, 2006 Author Report Posted April 4, 2006 that vonnegut is one strange dude! Quote
MartyJazz Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 that vonnegut is one strange dude! He just has a highly individualistic and poetic way of stating truths that most of us believe. Quote

Harold_Z Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 (edited) I've recently reread "The Sirens Of Titan". After 40+ years. I still think it's one of the best books ever written. Chuck...you're fortunate to have hung out with him. That HAD to be interesting. Edited September 29, 2006 by Harold_Z Quote
